Up to 4 PhD positions in applied computer science/media technology

The Media Technology Laboratory (MTL) at the Faculty of Computer Science and Media Technology invites applications to a temporary, full-time PhD position in the area of Applied Computer Science/Media Technology. Up to 4 positions may be filled.MTL offers degrees in computer science and media technology at both BSc and MSc level, and is involved in supervision at PhD level.

MTL is a growing and research active, multidisciplinary and multinational environment. The working language within the department is English, and PhD, MSc, and some BSc courses are taught in English to a highly international student body. MTL is mostly involved in applied research in which scientific knowledge and methodologies are used to solve challenging problems in today’s and tomorrow’s world. MTL enjoys good links with research institutions and universities worldwide.The titles of the available projects are:

  • Audio- and Video-Guided Interactive Performance of Computer Music
  • Mobile and Web-Based Learning
  • Mobile Augmented Reality and Pervasive Gaming
  • Quality Evaluation and Enhancement of Reproduced Images
