Aim | On completion of this course, students shall be able to:- Demonstrate understanding of the relevant fundamental principles and theories- Identify and quantify appropriate parameters, understanding their significance and consequences.- Assemble the specific data necessary for positioning and geometry, and relevant formal physical, demographic and qualitative properties;- Calculate and analyse functionality, safety, environmental and cultural consequences;- Assess and plan more limited improvements;- Understand and take into account the interactions between all aspects of the subject;- Understand and take into account the attitudes of users, managers, neighbours and other interest groups, and justify priorities and choices that have to be made. |
