Aim | This subject demonstrates how a construction company plans and carries out a building project, depending upon type and extent.
An additional and important objective is to give the student an understanding of how a construction company is operated, which methods and tools to use and the organisational conditions that have to be considered. |
Content | -Production planning techniques.
-Cost estimates. Labor payment arrangements.
-Connection between budget, cost estimates and accounts.
-The organisation of the building industry. Basic and special conditons it has to adher to.
-Types of contract. Connection between type of contract and responsibility applying to the participating parties.
-Quality control systems.
-Tolerance acceptance of completed projects. |
