Aim	Introduces the basic concepts in analog and digital communication, the design of simple error correcting codes, the basic principles of direct sequence spread spectrum communication and information theory.
Content	- Analog modulation. - Digital modulation, baseband and modulated signals. - Coding theory and practice - Spread spectrum modulation - Information theory - Introduction to cryptograpy

Supplementary Information	Examination Type: 3 home work tasks will be given. These tasks will be evaluated from another student with passed/not passed. At least 50% must be correct to give passed. One passed home work counts as one 100% correctly answered problem in a written 3 hours examination, not passed home work counts as one 0% correctly answered problem.
