Course Description GEO2001 - Remote Sensing (2003/2004)

This course teaches background theory and how to use digital images in mapping projects with emphasis on interpretation and the classification of multi-spectral data. Hands-on exercises train students in the basic skills of interpreting and classifying digital imagery with emphasis on satellite data and orthophotographs.
