On completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Design, plan and execute simple observing campaigns
- Reduce and post-process observations
- Adjust simple networks of observations
- Assess the quality of results

- General system descriptions, GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO
- Use of receiver instruments
- Data file transfer and management
- Position measurement principles
- Observing campaign design and planning
- Practical static surveys
- Post-processing to vectors
- Simple network adjustment using “SKIPRO”
- Data preparation in the setting out process
- Practical kinematic observing techniques
- Quality control aspects
- Documentation in accordance with national land surveying standards
