Aim	The course will give the students basic understanding of the theory and the practical use of modern databases. Further it will give the students knowledge and understanding of the use of XML and XML-related technologies.
Content	The structur of data, and SQL used to Define, Manipulate and Query Conceptual, Logical and Physical design, Databasemodeling with EER-diagrams and 1. 2. og 3. Normal form Client-Server, Security, Transactions and Concurrency Control Document modelling with XML, DTD and Schema Comunnication of data through XML Using XSLT to transform XML documents
