Aim | The students shall be familiar with the basic physiological, physical and chemical conditions of light and colour as human experience. They shall also have an insight into the cultural and scientific aspects of colour history, sufficient for an understanding of the structures determining the various colour ordering systems. |

Assessment | Portfolio Assessment (counts 33%) Written Exam, 4 hours (counts 50%) Evaluation of Laboratory Exercise(s) (counts 17%) Each part must be individually approved of. The portfolio is determined by minimum 8 individually designed hand-ins according with the demonstrations given in Module 1. Laboratory excercise is required in Module 3. Written exam is required in Module 2 and Module 3. In the evaluation of the written exam the questions from Module 2 are weighted by 2/3 while the questions from Module 3 are weighted by 1/3. |
