Aim

After completing the course, the students shall:
- be familiar with established thinking, terminology and concepts related to the use of new media and new technology
- be familiar with the historical development towards media convergence and the world-wide web
- be able to recognize similarities and differences among different media, genres and technologies
- be able to analyze the role that information and communication technologies play in society
- be able to discuss the impact that introduction of digital media technology has on end-users, organizations and society
