Aim

After the course the students should:
- have a solid understanding (knowledge, abilities, and attitudes) of the course contents
- have understood the fundamental problems in network security
- have comprehensive knowledge about security services and protocols to ensure confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation
- be able to use typical security software for network communication
- have established a foundation to advance the programme and their own proficiency
