    Aim

    Give the students the mathematical foundation that is required to understand the topics being addressed in the course “Digital media representation” that runs in parallel.

    Calculus with complex numbers
    Linear algebra
    Discrete and continuous Fourier transform
    DCT and Z-transform
    Wavelets and wavelet transform
    The Sampling Theorem
    Linear filter theory
    Bezier curves and surfaces, and splines
